Hummus



Ingredients
1 cup cooked or 1 can chickpeas (I recommend canned chickpeas, as they are softer) (keep the liquid from the can)
half a lemon
1-2 cloves of garlic (depending on your taste), crushed
2-3 tbsp tahini (sesame seed paste)
salt, cayenne pepper or paprika poweder
1 tablespoon of olive oil
(some parsley, chopped in small pieces)
Directions
Blend all ingredients, squeeze the juice from the lemon, mix everything. If the mixture is too thick, add some liquid from the can. Before serving, sprinkle some olive oil and paprika powder on the hummus. If desired, sprinkle some chopped parsley on the hummus. Delicious on sandwiches and bread!
