Marzipan



Ingredients
100 g peeled almonds
1,5-1,75 dl confectioner's sugar (powdered sugar)
1-2 tbsp lemon juice
a few drops almond extract
dark chocolate (optional)
Directions
Blend the almonds in a food processor. Add the sugar, lemong juice and almond extract and blend for a few more seconds. Place the mixture in a bowl and work it with your hands, until it's smooth and even. If the mixture does not come together well, add a very small amout of water. Make shapes out of the marzipan or cut it with a knife. If desired, melt some dark chocolate and coat the marzipan shapes with it. Stick a toothpick in each chocolate-coated marzipan figure and keep them in the fridge for a while before serving.
